Kristallnacht Commemoration: Returning, Remembering, Forgiving

City Tech Jewish Faculty & Staff Association will host a presentation by theoretical chemist and Nobel Laureate Roald Hoffmann, who together with several family members hid in the attic and storeroom of a local schoolhouse in Poland for 15 months until liberated by the Russian army near the end of World War II. Dr. Hoffmann, who will be introduced by Cornelia Street Café owner Robin Hirsch, will be presented with JFSA's Distinguished Humanitarian Award in recognition of his worldwide humanitarian efforts.
