St. Francis College is hosting Day 1 of the inaugural 2014 New York Metro Joint Cyber Security Conference (NYMJCSC 2014) on Tuesday, October 7.
The conference will bring together security professionals, managers and students to provide insights into Cyber Security News and Trends, as well as offer practical applications for Legal, Forensic, Audit, and Programming fields.
Sponsored by the St. Francis Department of Management and IT, the conference will focus on crucial security issues related to Cloud Computing, Applications, and Big Data, as well as cyber threats, attacks and war.
The conference is being held in October to help highlight National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM). Day 2 will be held the following day, Thursday, October 8 at Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey.
